Join us for this exciting Tour and Happy Hour!

Come explore the world’s largest site-zero energy building—right in our own backyard! The United Therapeutics Unisphere is a marvel of passive and active building energy principles, including a subterranean air purifying earth labyrinth, ~1MW of onsite solar, automated electrochromic glass, and closed loop geothermal HVAC (first of its kind in Maryland).

🔋  Leading the tour will be Jason Fierko, the projects Energy Engineer from Ewing Cole, along with Jared Mechling, the projects Senior Project Engineer at Whiting-Turner. They’ll share insights on the design and implementation process, as well as how the building’s modeled energy performance compares to real-world operation over the past 5 years. 

🍻 After the tour, join us for a happy hour on the Unisphere rooftop, a shaded deck with panoramic views of Silver Spring. The tour is limited to 20 people and tickets are on a first come first served basis, so register now!
