As the Principal Technical Advisor within the International Department, Crissy supports its international energy regulatory work for transitioning and emerging economies across its global portfolio of over 35 countries. NARUC leads peer-to-peer cross-sharing and technical assistance to empower regulator’s to drive impactful results within the energy sector.
Previously, Crissy has worked at the Maryland Public Service Commission, the Maryland Energy Administration, Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative, D&R International, and The Cadmus Group. Her technical specialties include energy efficiency, demand response, distributed generation, dynamic pricing and renewable energy. Crissy is also a Mentor for the International Confederation of Energy Regulators’ (ICER) Women in Energy Initiative. She has a B.A. in International Affairs from the University of Maryland, College Park and a M.S. in Environmental Sciences & Policy from the Johns Hopkins University. She is also accredited by the Association of Energy Engineers as a Certified Energy Manager (CEM).
