CEM Course 2022
South East Chapter
June 13, 2022 @ 8:00 am - June 16, 2022 @ 5:00 pm
AEE NCC is hosting a virtual Certified Energy Manager (CEM) course and exam from June 13th – 16th, 2022. The virtual format includes a live instructor for the entire course, and allows for a richly collaborative training experience, since all participants will be able to engage in shared digital content in real time. Here’s a quick overview of AEE’s Virtual CEM training course: CEM Virtual Training Program Overview.
This Since its inception in 1981, the CEM credential has become widely accepted and used as a measure of professional accomplishment within the energy management field. The course is designed for energy industry professionals and aspiring students. Registration will close when the event reaches capacity, or no later than 12pm on 5/23, so please register as soon as possible.
APPLICATION:
Attendees are encouraged to complete a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) Exam Application or Energy Manager in Training (EMIT) Exam Application 3-4 weeks prior to taking the exam. If an applicant doesn’t meet one of the CEM eligibility criteria, they can still apply for the Energy Manager In-Training certification, EMIT. The EMIT certification is valid for six years, which allows applicants time to meet the full CEM certification eligibility requirements.
Applicants must submit their application in advance in order to schedule their remotely proctored exam. A minimum 72-hour notice is required to schedule an exam with ProctorU. On the application, applicants will select “Remote Proctoring Exam” and for the seminar, they should indicate “NATIONAL CAPITAL CITY CHAPTER Virtual Training.” We encourage all students to submit the application ahead of time so they can be pre-approved for the certification. If you have any questions regarding the application process, please contact Crystal Xiong / 770-447-5083 x.218 / crystal@aeecenter.org.
