American Geophysical Union Net Zero Building Tour

South East Chapter

May 24 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

We are delighted to invite you to join us for a tour and luncheon hosted by the Association of Energy Engineers National Capital Chapter on Wednesday, May 24th, at the recently completed net-zero American Geophysical Union headquarters in Washington, DC.

The tour will provide an opportunityto learn more about the innovative energy-efficient systems and sustainable practices that have been implemented at the AGU building. The groundbreaking building renovation is the first of its kind in the DC area. The building generates more energy than it consumes and is in the top 5% of LEED projects in the world. AGU’s engineering staff will also present best practices and lessons learned during the luncheon.

We will also have plenty of time for networking with other professionals in the energy industry and gain insights into the latest industry trends.

We look forward to seeing you at the event.
